Saugus, MA

Saugus is well known for it's stretch along Route 1

Many landmarks are in Saugus along Route 1.  The Old Hilltop Steakhouse Cactus shaped sign (now a condo/business community) and the orange dinosaur which used to be at the mini-golf course just before the exit to Route 99.  The mini golf course was leveled to build condos, but the dinosaur survived and rests atop the retaining wall of the new property.  Saugus has lots of shopping and restaurants along route 1 but also has quaint neighborhoods and a few "Main St" areas.
